LenZ Ring

This is going to be in my 3d movie ^^ 2" cm objects becomes unnessary mad detail. I got inspired by the new FF13 that just came out in japan today.

Sonic werehog VFX

I came across this article that shows how the studio at Sega manage to make Sonic the werehog short movie that I've posted up earlier. They did the work in maya and show videos of their character controls. It's interesting, take a look:

Flash is now faster than Sonic

Adobe Flash Player 10.1 is now GPU accelerated. What this mean is you won't have anymore youtube lag while watching their extreme HD format. It's not CPU intensive anymore and the big 1080 videos are very smooth to watch. Even if you don't have a graphic card, it'll still run alot better then before. It's still in beta version, but in my mind, it's 80% better. Try it for yourself:
Windows (2MB)
Mac (9MB)
Linux (4MB)

If you like to make an experiment, this is what I've just done. Make a controled experiment by watching Sonic Werehog short in HD and full screen. Now download the 10.1 flash player and watch it again. You'll notice it runs so much smoother. I'm using a quad core computer for this experiment. Enjoy
